Congrats to the selected winners. Why do members get upset if the person that wins doesn’t have 2,315 posts? Some people come for recipes, some for tips/tricks, and others spend more time. Good luck to everyone in August, even the newest members.

Alright, here goes. Huskee I'm going with the Porter Road gift certificate as long as there's no time limit on when I can use it. (Not chancing making a purchase while the highs are 110+ and the lows are lucky to drop below the 90s). I've been eyeing the Fireboard, but I currently have a DigiQ and until that dies I really don't need another controller. (I know, do we really need anything?) I've never ordered from a meat supplier like this and I'm super curious about it so it makes the most sense since I usually get stuff from Costco or the plain old grocery store.
Thanks Meathead and all of you Pitmaster Club members!

Excellent choice! If it were to come to me, I would be torn between the Fireboard and the knife set, since I already have more cookers than I can use, but if the Porter Road certificate were there, that's the choice. I've gotten their stuff before: not inexpensive, but truly high quality.

Hey, synodog, I'm also out here in the heat of the East Valley. If you happen to place the order before it cools off around here, please report back on how the meat delivery went. I too have reservations about ordering food products during the summer around here.

Thank you for your Service! Congrats on the win.Originally posted by Huskee View PostUPDATE:
Our Grand Winner (Smokin' Jobo) was able to get ahold of me shortly after his deadline last night. He was offline due to military reasons, thus extenuating circumstances. His circumstances for delay were beyond his control and were directly related to his military service. Therefore, after a brief discussion with the team, a unanimous decision was made to award the Grand Prize to him! Congrats Josh!
That said, due to other forfeitures, please give it up for our new winners:
Second Prize: synodog
Fourth Prize: RudeIntent
Gentlemen, you both have 5 days, until 11:59 p.m. CT on Saturday July 27, 2024 to claim your prizes as instructed in the main top post of this topic. Congrats!

Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
You will be pleased, I assure you. Porter Road is right up there with the best. When you decide to order, remember to wait until the weekly special is something you want, and always make sure your order is over $125 to get the free shipping. Don’t forget the 10% first order discount, you can stack that! In fact, you can stack everything: the gift certificate, the weekly special, the free shipping, all of it. If you use the entire $500 at your first shot (you’d better have a good deep freezer!), you can probably get about $600-$700 in total value: $50 discount for first order, $50+ in free shipping, and whatever the discount is for the weekly special.Originally posted by synodog View PostI've never ordered from a meat supplier like this and I'm super curious about it….

We're into the last 23 hours or so for our last winner to respond, RudeIntent has until 11:59 pm CT tonight. Doesn't look like he's even logged in yet, but maybe there's hope for him yet today, we'll see.
If not, the new Fourth Prize winner will be announced at some point Sunday 7/28, maybe early in the day.....
