I'll pay those taxes, we already get reamed tax wise here in California. I'll just add it to my every day tax reaming and have to enjoy it as I'm searing steaks on my new grand prize.

UPDATE:
Our Grand Winner (Smokin' Jobo) was able to get ahold of me shortly after his deadline last night. He was offline due to military reasons, thus extenuating circumstances. His circumstances for delay were beyond his control and were directly related to his military service. Therefore, after a brief discussion with the team, a unanimous decision was made to award the Grand Prize to him! Congrats Josh!
That said, due to other forfeitures, please give it up for our new winners:
Second Prize: synodog
Fourth Prize: RudeIntent
Gentlemen, you both have 5 days, until 11:59 p.m. CT on Saturday July 27, 2024 to claim your prizes as instructed in the main top post of this topic. Congrats!

Congrats synodog !!
I am glad you awarded the grand prize to smokin' jobo. I think it was the correct decision if the rules can be bent.
I also believe you may have opened a can o' worms. Rules are rules and now that rule is not a hard set time period any longer.

Military reasons are absolutely a solid reason to extend that deadline. I'm glad you did.
Also, Thank you, Smokin' Jobo for your service.

Weber Smoky Mountain 18” and 22”
Weber Smoque XL w/ front and side folding tables
Weber Genesis E-430 (came with the frame kit).
DigiQ fan controller (WSM 22” has the attachment)

Turkey fryer (2)
Maverick ET-732 (2)
Char-Broil Big Easy Oil-less Turkey Fryer, Bunk Basket (2)

Winning is cool but making a decision is going to be agonizing.
I’m glad you all came to that conclusion to still award Smokin' Jobo the grand prize I think most if not all would agree.

Smoker_Boy OTOH, product is the reason hardware exists.
I think a lot of us would save to get new hardware, but wouldn’t do the same for premium product. This is an opportunity to get premium product without worrying about the price per pound. I agree that hardware has value, though.

Smoker_Boy and Mosca you both are making good points (and flats 😂). I don’t have any more room for another cooker but I’d make it happen if I really wanted/needed one. But realistically, it’s down to the fireboard and Porter road gift certificate leaning towards PR due to the points Mosca brings up. I’ve given myself to the end of the day to decide.
