    WARNIN!!!!!!: Contains Explicit Porknography!!!!

One thing that wasn't even mentioned in th Giveaway: I finally have my Dream Deck, that I jus ain't never been able to afford, previous, like!

Oh, I reckon it may not look like so much, to some yall, but I can honestly say it's th bestest deck I ever owned.

I also reckon yall will find it summat more impressive, once I git my railins built fer it, an put on!
    Woot Woot!!!!

Sharp eyes might notice that a brother of mine popped by, fer a while...he was sittin up on my front stoop, playin some Blues on one o my Strats...really helped set th mood...

I started by settin up th same basic fire I did fer my burn in: 2 Weber chimleys of unlit KBB, spread evenly across th fire grate:
Click image for larger version Name:	20180903_191006.jpg Views:	1 Size:	107.7 KB ID:	561244
As before, utilizin one of my beloved SJS's, I lit offa few Weber firestartin cubes, one crumpled double sheet of newspaper,* an a full chimley of KBB, to git th train rollin...

Click image for larger version Name:	20180903_191936.jpg Views:	1 Size:	116.8 KB ID:	561247 Also have a couple nice hunks of mesquite standin by, fer lil later...
Click image for larger version Name:	20180903_191947.jpg Views:	1 Size:	201.4 KB ID:	561248 Let's us go an check th chimley, see if it's ready, yet...I was beyond hungry!!! (An beyond tired, got up at 0330)
Click image for larger version Name:	20180903_192040.jpg Views:	1 Size:	139.1 KB ID:	561249
Nope, th coals ain't quite there, yet...gotta find summat to do, fer a spell...

As ALWAYS, Smokey is guardin th smokers, keepin th area safe fer me to do my work...he is obviously as delighted with our new deck as myself, cause no sooner did my happy arse leave th chair, an he was all like BOOM, up on there!!!! (Thanks Again, yall!)
Click image for larger version Name:	20180903_193945.jpg Views:	1 Size:	155.4 KB ID:	561250

*This is only th 2nd, mebbe 3rd time I've used them lil firestarter thingamajiggies.

I speculated addin th newspaper this time would create a faster, more even ignition of my coals, an in that respect, I was correct.
    SOP from now on, here.

      Nice deck!

Steve R. I saw on the news not too long ago that someone backed up a truck and drove off with one of those lil houses soon after it had been delivered. The owner showed up the day after delivery and had to call the police to report someone had stolen her house. 😀

Let's us tune in, shall we?

Well, lookin round, in my desperation, my ol, squinty eyebulbs (temporarily) seized upon what was within reach...

      DRAT!!! Yeah, Right!!!

Ain't like a fireplace poker, an some PPE gonna fix this particular predicament, though I reckon I mighta previous fixed some other ones, thusly...

</panic> Kewl!!! I gots me some proteins, to put all up in my New Cooker! Whew!!!

Now, how to best prepare them??? (This here was kinda sposed to be A Momentous Occasion!)

Now, somewhere, from back in th deep, dark recesses fer what passes as th remnants of a once keen mind, a lil voice told me that I need to apply some rub...Whew! Rub? Sheeiitt! I. Can. Do. That. Breathe. In. Breathe. Out.

(Normally, I ignore th lil voices, but desperate times sometimes call fer desperate measures, my apologies, yall!)

At this point, I welcomed any guidance, whatsoever, regardless whence it mighta come from.

Lemme rummage around, inside, see what I have to hand, to choose fer such an auspicious, an widely awaited moment in Pit History...No Pressure, or such like that, btw! :

(Whew, I badly wanted a well-fortified Adult Beverage, at that point, but time an duty did not oblige!

I covered one rack with some of my everday Go To pork rub, some 3LP.*..other one was new, untried, come from somewhere over yonder, crosst th Pond, in Scandahoovia, or some such place, thereabouts!!!! Henrik

Now that I see it, I remember the A&C one too. But the Stooges version was the one that stuck with me. We had 3 Stooges reruns on TV when I was a kid (70s) and after that episode ran, all the boys were going around school repeating it. It was awesome.

That tooth pick reminds me of Armstrong & Aldrin on the moon. Fond memories, I was the one takin the picture, remember it well. It’s about time we got some meat 🥩 in this collage of cookery. So far I rate this movie 3 1/2 tomatoes and 1 onion. Keep smokin on. Can’t wait for the finale.
