In January 2021 I was attending a reunion in Virginia just south of where they were made. Had plans to swing by their shop after the reunion and buy one to haul back home myself to save the freight. Then everything shut down due to the virus and they asked me to wait. I later forgot to reconnect with them after everything was clearing up and I was headed back that way. I certainly missed an opportunity there to have one sitting in my backyard. ☹️

Just like most everyone here, a lot of other stuff!
First time to be here in a long time. Other hobbies have consumed me. So I just saw the news here that the Watchman may be gone!
I have reached out to the metal supplier that cut the material for the stoves and confirmed that they are not making the kits any longer. As I remember they were a partner with Watchman Stove in provided the cut metal for them. I did send them a subsequent email asking about if the Watchman Stove company is indeed totally gone.
I built the one I posted here to kick this thread off. I then built another one from the metal kit for a friend a couple of years ago.
Sad to think that the Watchman has disappeared. It is a fun stove and sure glad I have mine.
EDIT: They answered and it turns out that Winchester Metals was the owner of the business the whole time and the Watchman was a fun side project for them. Just wasn't big enough to stay on their slate. Sad to see it go. For you welders out there, Ben may have some kits still available.

It's back again. I had forgotten about it. Andrrr and Richard Chrz just had to bring it back to my attention. Which is OK since they are no longer selling them new at least. Then ComfortablyNumb had to go and find an equivalent. Thanks fellas.
I know the owner of a fairly large large fabrication shop. Went ahead and purchased the drawings for $50. I am eventually either going to get one built for me or purchase one. Really like the looks of this little cooker.
I just may have to buy those drawings as well, I know a few fabricators to approach (having lunch with one tomorrow). This is one of those can’t show to my wife until it shows up built!
