That is AWESOME!!!! On the Fans of Jambos Facebook group I've seen 5-year-old pits go for the same price as new - they just don't lose value. I am having so much fun with my smoker, I know you are going to love yours!
The insulated firebox gets HOT. I've been keeping my fire on one half of the box and putting in sticks on the other half to dry out. One time the wood on the other side was smoking from the heat - it wasn't touching the sides or anything!

I looked at your photos and I think your exhaust is a bit higher than mine and I have heard the opening of the firebox is in a different location. would be interested to know how different it is from yours!
