Our neighbors across the street put in a killer patio over the summer, and will be hosting their annual pig roast on it in a couple of weeks. I just ordered a few chuckies from Wild Fork that I'll smoke to bring over to that feast to add to the pigmeat.

Wild Fork is excellent. Received one order that had some chicken wings that had started to thaw but not a problem. I thought I would let them know about it just as a comment that might help them. Received a reply within hours thanking me for the comment and stating they were passing it on to the shipping department. They also stated they were refunding me 100 percent of the entire cost of the order, which they did that day! I never asked for the refund or even hinted at that. All I was doing was trying to be helpful. That was excellent customer service. Always enjoy whatever I order. I am a big fan!

An excellent, but PRICEY (damn pricey), choice is Allen Brothers, which Meathead has recommended.

Yes I have used Allen Brothers. As you say, VERY pricy. But outstanding quality and service.

I use creekstone for the first time. I got beef ribs on sale. I was very happy with the quality

I have made one order with WF and a couple items arrived damaged. They took care of it. An item was underweight. I ordered above a certain threshold so they gave me a free year of the free shipping membership.

Just got my first order from Creekstone the other day - a 16lb whole ribeye ($15 a lb and no bones) and the beef chuck ribs. Had 2 steaks and they were very good quality. I've ordered a few times from Porter Road, too - mostly for things the local farms & butcher shops don't carry. Pretty decent quality there, too.

I Used to use local pork and poultry, but last actual butcher just closed. I use Wild Fork from their local store for most meats. Their prices, quality, and selection are better than local grocery stores and meat markets. We use 2 beef cuts for pastrami that they don't have. I get beef navel and prime boneless chuck short ribs from Agridime. Their quality has been excellent, and I just unpacked an large order, that included free shipping and 10 pounds free 80/20 ground beef.

I posted unboxing of my first order here.

Order came in from Wild Fork. Mahi and chicken was very good but these pork chops were exceptional.

I love the chops from WF. I just took two out to thaw earlier today. So good.

I've ordered Iberico pork ribs from Marx. Couldn't find baby back ribs of that quality anywhere.

I just moved to South Carolina and Wild Fork no longer delivers to my area. I loved their selection and great pricing. Any alternatives?

Just reviving this 3 year thread rather than starting a new one. Anyone have new recommendations? Just discovered Wild Fork has a store near me.

Lol...I've been wanting to try a porterhouse. Looked at one at HEB last week before deciding on a NY Strip.

I am incredibly lucky to have a Wild Fork near me in NJ. I buy the prime tri-tip more than anything else. Picanha is also very good. I'm guessing in Texas you have brisket and beef ribs growing on trees, but I also get those there. And if you want to be a little healthy, the italian chicken sausage pinwheels are quite good and make for an easy weeknight dinner with some pasta and broccoli. The Berkshire double cut chops are also really good.

I have a Wild Fork store nearby. I've been happy with it.

I keep seeing FB ads for ButcherBox No idea how their service is, or quality of meats, but certainly a big enough online presence, they must be doing something right to keep dropping money on ads.

SheilaAnn, I figured someone would know better! I've never ordered meat online. I'm fortunate enough to have White Feather Farms about 3 miles from my house.

My Wild Fork go-tos are the tri-tip, Berkshire double cut pork chops, Argentinian pink shrimp (when they have them), beef bones for broth. Oh and those little frozen cubes of ginger.

                      Meatloaf mix, too.

They opened a Wild Fork about 10 miles from my house. I gotta get a tri-tip. I’ve never seen one in the local stores.

A couple of the best tri tips I've ever cooked came from them. I thought they were an excellent outfit. Sadly they no longer ship to Michigan.
