Have you used Wild Fork or some other meat delivery company that is reasonably priced?
I've never used Wild Fork, their pricing is actually pretty good. So if you have used them what did you think? Any suggestions for other online companies that also offer good pricing?
I've used SNF, Omaha, and Great Western, all were good, but overpriced when compared to what I can get locally. or when compared to Wild Forks pricing. Again, I've never tried Wild Fork.
I use Wild Fork exclusively. I buy 90% of my meats from them. Never been disappointed. I also am a member of their Unlimited Club. I order approximately every 4-6 weeks so it’s a great deal for me. All orders delivered overnight frozen rock solid. After 3 orders you break even on membership fee vs. free shipping.
Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
+2 on Creekstone and what Mosca said. I just got a couple of their striploin primals and I’m very impressed with their products. Yes there’s a lot of fat to trim off, but that’s to be expected. But the flavor and texture is outstanding. I’m hoping they put their ribeyes on sale again soon.
I have used SNF once and Creekstone a few times. The food I’ve bought from Wild Fork I bought from their stores. Big fan. I recently bought 2 cowboy steaks for $120: similar purchase from Creekstone was $185 I think. I love Creekstone but only buy when they run the sales. Otherwise it’ll be Wild Fork.
A quick question if I may? I see a lot of you folks ordering meat online…May I ask why? Is this a quality issue or just not being able to source what you want locally?
Thanks
Can't touch the quality in anything local, in my case, and definitely the variety, lots of cuts that simply never appear on local shelves. Only one decent butcher shop within a very long drive of me, despite being in a major metro area. Also this way one can eliminate some middle-humans and processing, getting direct from a ranch or maybe one step removed (e.g. CrowdCow). Having many sources for staples seems sensible these days. And, convenient!!
I order from Snake River Farms and Creekstone, usually when there's a sale. Quality is superior to most of what I can get locally and generally less expensive compared to some stores selling SRF in their meat cases.
I used Wild Fork delivery once, and it was as advertised. Since then, they've opened a store in town, so I can go there to get things I normally couldn't locally (picanha, Berksire pork to name two).

I just order from Wild Fork. For me, it was their pricing, which in general is slightly better than my local. grocery. More importantly, they have cuts that are often impossible to find in my area.
Right now Wild Fork is offering free shipping to first-time buyers. If you are a member, shipping is free. Once I get my first order, I'll decide if I want to join.
As for all of the others like Omaha, SRF, etc., they're expensive and for me not worth the price.

A little of both. When Creekstone runs a sale, the price:quality ratio is off the charts, you can’t get beef that good in the store at that price. It’s a little work, but nevertheless worth it.
The advantage to buying in a supermarket is getting to see what you’ve bought before you buy it. But I can’t think of any beef I’ve bought online that wasn’t up to quality.
I have used Crerkstone and Porter Road. Both were excellent. But lately I have been using my local butchers for most things, and only using online for stuff I can't get locally. And ribs. The Porter Road spares are better than what I can get locally, which are usually Smithfield. Their ribs are even better that the local butcher's.
Just received a delivery from Wild Fork yesterday. Got a prime outside skirt steak, a prime brisket, and some organic chicken breasts. First time trying the chicken. I too am a member there so I get free delivery. We go through a lot of their organic boneless turkey breasts. Love to smoke those babies.
I find Wild Fork’s quality to be a little bit lower than Porter Road or Creekstone, but their brisket is definitely trimmed more nicely than Costco’s.
