My main rig for the last 7ish years has been a Traeger big tex 575. I love how easy my Traeger is but I agree with most that it can't do steaks and I think it could be smokier.
With the extra time lately I wanted to perfect grilling steaks. The lack of steakhouses open has fueled that desire. Research led me here and a couple weeks ago I joined and bought my first charcoal grill, a weber premium kettle. I have been grilling almost every night and almost have the reverse sear down.
Having read the Pit I now want a PBC! I however I saw that people got killer deals on the OKJ Bronco at Walmart. So it took going to a few stores but I found one that still have a couple and got one for $124. Got it all sealed up and burned in yesterday. Now it's time to track down some beef ribs and get cooking for the fourth!
