I’ve been off this platform for a few years and decided to rejoin. Hoping to learn more from the community and share some of my results. I cook on a Weber Kettle, but recently got the bug to invest in Kamado. Havent taken the plunge yet, but wanted to get some opinions from this community. Is there a real benefit to upgrading or am I good with just the Weber?
Welcome back to The Pit from Texas. I love my Weber Kettle and my OKJ Bronco. I have a rotisserie, Vortex and SnS for my Kettle so I can cook almost anything on it. My 2 cookers are different. Don't consider getting a Kamado as upgrading, you are just just adding a new method/style of cooking to enjoy using. Nothing wrong with multiple cookers. MCS strikes again.
Welcome back to the Pit from the Florida Suncoast.
I hope you realize that asking this group if you should spend money is like asking Nolan Ryan if he threw a fastball.

Welcome! What do you want to do? Kamados are rilly, rilly nice, but do you have an answer to the why question? We want to help you spend yer money. Give us more info. Otherwise we'll tell ya to git one of everything. That'll be fun too. Eat good and have fun!
Welcome from down the road in The OC. I don't have any experience with a Kamado so I'll leave that for those who do, but in general I tend to lean toward "the more the merrier" when it comes to outdoor cooking toys. We're really happy here to help you spend money on stuff.
