Meathead Thanks - I believe transparency is always best and I agree with you. No actionable threat there.
Panhead John - I understand your feelings as well. I felt the same urge.
This is a place of escape for me from all that other BS we don’t talk about.
Thank.You.Very.Much.

Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
Sheesh. I’m glad I don’t Twitter.
Otherwise, I’ve always felt that forums aren’t airports; you don’t have to announce departures. We should all do what serves us best, but I have no idea how laying down such a hard burn serves anyone.

Not much to say is there. To each their own I guess. While some days on the pit are not scintillating or inspiring there are enough of those days to keep me interested. Just today I was introduced to a new Joe Walsh song I had never heard, thanks to Panhead John. There was also a steak cook today sorry don't remember who posted and they looked incredible. Need help with a cook just ask and you will receive more ideas than you wanted or have time to read. Jokes is one of my favourite threads, I always check for new ones, some are lame, some are not but I like them all. Enough of a rant, I can't see myself ever wanting to give up the pit it is an important part of my day.

I am not prone to being nice, and easy to get along with. Over the years, I've set off some online bombs myself, some intentionally, some not. I've tried to become a little more nice, or at least more tolerable, and one way that serves me pretty well (when I can remind myself) is that none of us ever knows what is going on behind another person's closed door. Sometimes it is that something really awful has happened, and the fact that we are yammering inanely about grills and smokers is just too much to take. Of course, sometimes it is just that someone's jackass is showing itself. My guess is this thread will either wither away after everyone puts in their two cents, or he will return with an explanation and/or apology, and we will move on. Good move Meathead, censorship is never really helpful, unless there is no other recourse. MHO.
