Thank y'all for the advice/suggestions
We are a family of 4 with a 7 and 13 yr old (both picky eaters)
We live on a cul-de-sac which celebrates the summer holidays as a group - would like to contribute to the party
Currently we only have a 5 burner gas grill (Nexgrill)
My thought was to start with the 26" Weber Kettle with the Slow 'N Sear accessory and add the 40" OKJ Smoker later.

22" Weber Kettle w/SNS, 18" WSM, Bronco, Grilla Chimp, Traeger Tailgater, UDS, Camp Chef Tahoe Stove.
Glad you're back. Can't go wrong with a kettle. Weber or SNS. I have several grills/smokers like most of these enablers here but my go to's are the kettle for grilling and the Grilla Chimp pellet grill ]or the OKJ Bronco (or Weber Smokey Mountain) for low and slow.
Hang around long enough and these villains will start encouraging you to cover your outdoor areas with cookers.

Welcome from Manassas VA
You will get a ton of good advice......I have found that the more specific you are- the advice is more helpful
I.E there are great discussion on specific Pit Barrel Cookers (PBC) or Off-Sets or Pellet Rigs or, or, or
Otherwise you are trying to compare Motorcycles to Pick-Up Trucks
Have Fun
