    New to BBQ

Signed on to lurk and learn.
I recently purchased 2 CookShacks and will be learning to use them with the guidance and advice of a friend who uses them also.
An SMO66 smoker, and a PG500 Pellet grill. my mentor tells me these give me a good start on hassle free backyard grilling.
Friend runs the Totem Diner in Washington State and absolutely convinced me on the SMO66 after sampling his ribs.
I also quilt and sew when free time pops up and I can actually set and work.

Welcome !! Don’t be shy, ask lots of questions. Rule #1, there are no dumb questions. Share what your doing. Rule #2, take lots of pictures and learn how to post them. Share your thoughts. Rule #3, show us what went right and wrong. We learn collectively.

We took this excuse for a backyard cremator named Panhead John and turned him into a Michelin star bbq chef. I know we can do it for you too!! Again welcome
