        Welcome from the NC Triad area! I went to school at Atlantic Christian/Barton College in Wilson in the early 90's and know how good eastern NC pulled pork is. That area reigns supreme for whole hog pit cooking!

          Thanks. Lived in Greensboro for almost 30 years, then Kernersville for 4 years before settling in Lewisville. Yep, eastern NC BBQ grew up in the Wilson, Rocky Mount, Kinston and Goldsboro area. Parker’s, King’s, Griffin’s, Scott’s, Wilbur’s, all iconic BBQ joints.
