I’m game on the condition that I get to clean them using my patent pending system, AKA get the grill as hot as is safe for the grill while I drink beer and swing in the hammock until I deem it time to scrape the grate down.

Okay, confession time. I hired someone to clean my three grills. I usually do a spring cleaning, but the Grilla keeps getting grimier, the Weber looks a bit more gross every year, and the OKJ... well, let's just say I kinda missed the spring cleaning last year, so it's been a couple years now.
Guy got here at 8:30, and has been at work since. I can see him from my office as he does the work... he's got a couple rotary wire brushes hooked to drills, and holy crap is the gasser sparkling like new. We talked about the process a bit, and for the OKJ, it's a zero chemical process, then he does a high temp burn in with some wood he brings. It's an all day process for me, a task of misery, and the greasy miles have piled up, so far I'm impressed. Pictures to follow. Not cheap, but we got a large refund this year, so I took a bit.
