Not sure where in KS Territory you are, but it could be as much as 7-8 hours if you're in the far NW.

Sorry to hear that Mr. Bones did you get a tracking number so you can track where it is? Given all the stuff I order online and it's a lot I have had very little if any trouble with shipping services.

Frozen Smoke my email shipping notification has a delivery date, an a button to track delivery.

Clickin it jus shows items ordered, and delivery date; no carrier information, or trackin number, so not terribly informative.

We'll see what happens today...it'll git here, eventually, I should think!

Interestin...it took 30 hrs 16 minutes to travel ~1491 miles from San Pablo, CA to Lenexa, KS, by air...

BUT, apparently, it's gonna take ~96 hrs, mebbe more, to make its way th 32 miles by roads from Lenexa to here, lol!)

(Fer comparisons sake: Pony Express took ~10 days, so ~240 hrs to travel ~1800 miles from St. Joseph, MO to Sacramento CA, c. 1860-61...

question for the group... $25 ribeye, you have the option, cook it on the griddle or your high-end gasser? And why? These griddles have peaked my interest!

Can't beat the smoke flavor on a good steak. Me, for my best steaks, like Prime ribeyes, or dry-aged, I smoke, sous vide, then sear - the gasser with Grill Grates or a sizzling griddle would work fine for that last step. Me, I use the flamethrower.

Jus one? Smokey Joe, first, then Chimney Sear
