Congratulations! I have the same model. One of the best accessories I got is the wind screens.

Thanks jayjordan I definitely was dealing with the wind Sunday and last night. I'll put those on my short list. Or maybe... I should build a shelter for it? Oh my. I think I'm going to get into trouble again.

Enjoy learning griddle cooking! I enjoy cooking more on that than on a traditional gas grill.

I also have a griddle (Camp Chef 6 burner) stored outside in the open, with a canvas cover. I eventually bought a hard cover from a guy on Etsy, but it stlll stays under the canvas cover. Just be sure to keep it seasoned well, oil it lightly after cleaning each time before covering, and it should stay rust free and usable. I just uncovered mine recently after 6 months under the cover. I had to wipe it down with a wet rag and a little oil as it was dirty even under the cover, but it was not rusted.

I often tell people that if I could only have TWO grills, it would be my kettle and my griddle. I would give up the Weber Genesis before I gave up the griddle. If I could only have one grill period, it would be my Performer Deluxe. While I cook more on the SNS Kamado, let's face it - the 22" kettle just has SO MANY accessories and 3rd party infrastructure, that it is the most flexible cooker you can have.

Looks great! Congrats on finding a good deal that got the stamp of approval from Corporate Accounting! Often easier said than done.

When I was looking for my Bronco, I saw one new on FB marketplace and I showed CA thinking it was proof that when we had the money that I wrote find a good deal. She looked at me crazy and told me to buy it asap!
