For about 2 years, I've been keeping an eye on FB Marketplace for a Blackstone, in good shape, for a good price, near me. Usually they get snatched up before I can get a message off, and the one's that were left look like they had been stored outside in the Sahara.
So I found one early last week, a little bit rough, but right near me. So I sent the link to Corporate Accounting, and they said "ew... that looks gross", then suggested we should only get one new. So I just happened to check Walmart's site, and lo' and behold, they were about $100 off with free shipping!
Sent the screenshot to CA, and they agreed! I was like, I'm on the site, and ordering it now! Boom, got it on Wednesday.
Heavy box...

Unpacked, put together, and sitting on the patio:

Seasoning begins and progresses nicely (Crisbee puck):

Ready to cook on:

Sittin' pretty next to the others!

I ordered a cover (as you can see), a silicone griddle cover, a spatula set, with scrapers, some squeeze bottles, and a few other things (those should be here today). Eventually need to get some cooking covers, and a silicone pad for the side wing, so they don't get all greasy.
First cook will be posted over in SUWYC!
This made my week!
This replaced the Grand Hall grill I had. Was going to sell it to a co-worker, cheap, but when I went to clean it, the gas manifold had a hairline crack in it! Couldn't figure out why the burners were so weak, and the front plate was getting hot! Once I had it apart, I could see the flames creeping out. Glad I wasn't trying to cook with it... And glad the flames didn't make it all the back toward the tank! Last time I used it was around Christmas time and it had worked fine. I'm guessing using it in the cold weather, heating it up, was what possibly caused a stress crack to form, and it finally opened up enough to leak gas.
For being a 2009 model, and looking up replacement parts (which the manifold wasn't even available), it was going to be north of several hundred dollars to fix properly. No sense in putting that kind of money into a 16-17 year old grill.
