Good looking cooker . My wife's birthday is in 2 weeks, I think she would love a flattop/griddle.

Congrats! It looks great, but I’m waiting for the first cook and exhaustive comparison with your 30 year-old electric griddle.

Allon Here’s Uncle Bob’s excellent review of his 4 burner Pit Boss.
I’ve been using a new Pit Boss Ultimate, four burner griddle, for a few months now and figure it’s time to post up some commentary here. For those unfamiliar this is a recent release from the folks at Pit Boss that has two primary features that differentiate this line from many of the other home, gas griddles some may be

Thanks and, NO KAMADO, no can do. I like being able to park my truck in the garage.

Thanks Allon, that’s what attracted me to it immediately, was the looks of the thing. It’s the best looking griddle I’ve seen.Last edited by Panhead John; July 10, 2022, 03:36 PM.

When Bob did his review recently I was like…Wow! That’s a good looking griddle! I really like the curves and the blue around the knobs and the blue logo. After I found out it was ceramic..and that Bob liked it…it was all over with.

Well John, now you just need a kamado to complete the collection and fill the glaring hole.
Can I interest you in a nice blue Akorn?
Congrats on the latest addition! The Pit Boss griddles do look very good!

Jim, yeah I’m sure yours is pretty heavy, mine was 110 lbs. I didn’t need help with lifting anything but the firebox, not that it was that heavy, but awkward to lift with one person. It will go a lot easier for you I’m sure with another person. It really helps the most though when you’re putting the legs and cart together. My next door neighbor helped me put the firebox on the cart, only took about 5 seconds. You should be able to do the full assembly in 2 hours easy, with help.Last edited by Panhead John; July 10, 2022, 03:21 PM.
