Just Got My First Gas Griddle

Thanks to me being a weak kneed yellow bellied sapsucker, my garage is full. Because of all you enablers here in The Pit, I have no more room for anything else. Don’t even try to talk me into buying something else! [please?] First it was Uncle Bob forcing me to buy the Bronco last year. Then ecowper practically put a gun to my head, making me get the SNS Kettle. Recently hoovarmin had to go and post a video of his beautiful rotisserie chicken. I had no choice but to go out and get me one. Now, Uncle Bob is at it again with his Pit Boss Ultimate Griddle review a few weeks ago. I don’t stand a chance with you people!

Actually I’ve wanted a griddle for quite a while but nothing really caught my eye like that Pit Boss did. It got here yesterday and I spent 2 1/2 sweat soaked hours in my garage putting it together this morning. Much of that time was spent walking around cussing. It definitely would have helped having another set of hands. Anyway, it was worth it! I love this thing and I haven’t even used it yet, maybe tonight.

        Great choice BTW.

I'm sure your Mom will love it.

I think you out the top on backwards. Otherwise, CONGRATS! I love my griddle.

DTro This is the 110 lb package I was referring to in the other post.

I don't think that hole in the griddle for grease drainage is large enough.

I actually had to be a little careful to not slide any food down the hole. 😂

That's a darn handsome griddle. Like me, you can resist anything but temptation.

When Bob did his review recently I was like…Wow! That’s a good looking griddle! I really like the curves and the blue around the knobs and the blue logo. After I found out it was ceramic..and that Bob liked it…it was all over with.

Your luck might be better if you put the tank cover over your head.

                  A couple of things.
                  1) be careful with your "Ladies", plastic and high heat are not compatible!
                  2) Isn't Lone Star Grillz just down the road from you? They are sure to have something there for you.

Very cool John. I got the three burner a few days ago. The box weighs a ton! I opened the box and realized there is no way I can assemble it myself. Been trying to get my son to come over and help. No luck so far so I’ll need to live through you in the meantime. Cook on!!

Jim, yeah I’m sure yours is pretty heavy, mine was 110 lbs. I didn’t need help with lifting anything but the firebox, not that it was that heavy, but awkward to lift with one person. It will go a lot easier for you I’m sure with another person. It really helps the most though when you’re putting the legs and cart together. My next door neighbor helped me put the firebox on the cart, only took about 5 seconds. You should be able to do the full assembly in 2 hours easy, with help.

Congrats on your new cooker. Try to remember after a few of the imitation beer you consume, it's not a seat and plastic melts.
