I'd advise caution in applying anything to the tile in an attempt to create a surface sheen. It can look great at first, but quickly degrades with use. It turns out that nearly anything that you use the create the sheen is not able to resist to surface abrasion from friction created by sliding things across it's surface. which then shows big time. The only way to avoid that, and the resulting ugly mess that keeps getting uglier with more use, is to use tile that has the desired sheen level baked in from the manufacturer. Good luck.
