Guys, I forgot to ask...suggestions on the type of fuel to use for this grill? Wood charcoal? briquettes? And, where to buy? Thank you.

Suggest a Weber model for our family of 3? Postage stamp backyard, easy to hide/maintain/clean?

For grilling, pretty much any brand or type of charcoal will do. Just avoid the briquettes with the lighter fluid already soaked in. For smoking, start with Kingsford Original (readily available at any big box store), and then experiment with others to see what works best for you.Last edited by Steve R.; May 29, 2020, 07:41 AM.

I feed my Weber with Kingsford Pro, which seems to be a brand targeted at wholesale clubs. I think it's at other stores as "long-burning". This gives me the best results with the GrillGrates.
I'd stay away from the blends that have mesquite or other woods blended in. This seemed like a gimmick to me, and I like to be more in control of the smoke. You'd also have to stock up with more different bags unless hickory swordfish sounds like a good idea.

Hi guys,
I had ordered a 22" grill from Weber but then realized it was too big for my needs . On that same day I ordered, I had tried to call Weber and also sent several emails since, but no one is picking up due to COVID stay home orders, I guess. The grill came two days ago and I am trying to ship it back to them for the 18" version. I haven't opened the box yet.
Anyone have any experience with Weber customer support and know if they are pretty good about refunds?
