I saw a post on Facebook Marketplace for a Weber Performer, used only a few times. Asking price was $20. They clearly missed a zero. So I sent a message to point out the issue. "Is this really only $20? If so, I'll take it!"
I got a pretty quick response and damn was I surprised. "Yes it is!! If you can pick it up it's yours!"
I can't say it was MCS because I wasn't looking to or expecting to buy a grill. But now I have two Performers, including this new beauty. For $20 and some spousal interrogation as to why we need ANOTHER grill, it was absolutely worth it.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

Was an older couple. The guy said his wife prefers gas because charcoal takes too long so she posted it for sale. No idea why she priced it so low, guessing she just wanted it gone. If I can find a day when I have some time, might reverse sear a tri-tip and bring some over to them as some additional payment. At this price, I feel like I'm stealing from them.
I'm already planning on selling the WSM 14 inch, Weber kettle, and Weber Spirit 310. That'll leave me with a GMG Daniel Boone, Weber Genesis, and two Performers. She still thinks that is more than I need, but marriage is all about compromise, right? 4 is between 1 and 7. Perfect compromise.

@Mr. Bones If I had a collection like yours I would cook every meal on them. I wouldn't have a choice, since I probably wouldn't be allowed back in the house to use the kitchen.
jumbo7676 I do cook a great deal of my meals on th Webers, from Smokey Joes on up...
If I had alla th kettles I actually own sittin here at FBB, fwd, instead of spread all out across several counties, an even states, why, they'd lock me up, right fast in a mental institution, I reckon...
Even worse, I'll be pickin up at least one, mebbe two more, this weekend, but they're outbound, in Theory we'll see...jus too gooda deals to pass up...
I think if you told her you thought she needed her own grill and you found an awesome deal for her ,,,,,and then asked for the $20 bucks,,,she may have appreciated it a lil more,,,,,just maybe ,,,not likely
