In a lot of similar ways, this describes my barbecuing journey to a tee. The only difference is I would prefer the bottle at the bottom to be Scotch, but who's complaining !!!
Great ad and it could easy be a Weber ad. I love be me a fine scotch but I like Jim Beam too. If I'm at a bar I'll order a Beam or a house whiskey most of the time. At home I opt for something at least a step or two above.
Have ya tried th Beam Black, Extry Aged? I think it istands head an shoulders over th regular, an I've never been a Beam guy...if all someplace has is rotm, then I'll go with JD Black, every time.
Th Black Extry Aged has been a regular fixture on my bar, since I discovered it, several years ago.
Please, Amigo, lmk what ya think...like I said, ain't never really been a beam guy, ain' hatin fer even a second, but my system was jus powered by JD Black fer decades, Beam was fine in a pinch...
But I haveta reiterate: I REALLY love th Black Extry Aged....
Yep Troutman I have had some of the best. Same with cars loved my Porsche's, now I have a simple SUV. Bought my first Weber 22 in 1979, 40 years ago when I bought my first house. As I recall it cost 49 dollars.
AWWWRIGHT! You just stirred up my MCS gene!!! What's the name of the grill in the first pic and where might I get one, please?

So far I enjoy the webers I have, and will likely always own one. My hopes though are that I will own a quality stick burner some day. That would feed my Type A - OCD amazingly well. But for now, I am extremely grateful that I have them, and beginning understand a l bit about how to set them up. But, I still want that bottom one, or hell any of them. ;D
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.
