As described in my thread last week, got a Weber 26" kettle delivered and had to return it because of defects in the enamel. I had to wait for the replacement - picked it up today. The Home Depot employees got WAY too much humor out of the fact that my surname is Weber... "Oh, are you the Weber who ordered a Weber? Ha Ha!" "Do you own the company? You're just here to check up on us? Ha Ha!" Seriously - 4 different employees commented on it. Anyway, I got the kettle, checked to make sure it is in defect free, had some laughs, a good time was had by all.
I assembled it and fired it up for a burn-in. Here it is with my other Webers (grills, that is) looking on.

Awesome! I have a moderate case of MCS - Jumbo Joe, Bradley Electric smoker, Weber Spirit 3-burner, 14.5" WSM, PBC, Performer, Weber 26 and a number of accessories for the Performer and 26. I recently told my wife - if I could only keep one it would be the 26+SnS. The capacity of that thing absolutely rocks.
That may not have been a safe thing to tell your wife. She might sell the rest in a yard sale while you are work! Happened with my golf clubs and Nikon 35mm SLR a few years back!

Gotta love name humor. My last name is Lyons. Each time my wife was pregnant we inevitably heard "Are you gonna name this one Detroit? " ha ha ha. Coincidentally the infamous year of 2009 when the Lions were 0-16, our middle son was born. We named him Owen. My good friend asked, without missing a beat, "Is his middle name Sixteen? " took me a second but I actually laughed pretty hard at that one.
A former governor of Texas and wealthy Houstonian with the family name Hogg, up and named his daughter Ima. Always thought it was funny and pretty cruel all at the same time !!
