    Smokin on a Jumbo Joe???

Never have done it because I have other tools for that job but am just curious because I am looking at the slownsear charcoal basket for the Jumbo Joe (just because I ain't got one and love my SNS on my kettle!!) and am wondering if anyone has experience using that little basket on the Jumbo.

It works great. I've done chucks and half ribs and many sausage rolls. I don't even mess with water and it turns our fine. The SnS basket is a nice tool for it.

I have smoked on my Jumbo Joe a couple of times recently. No issues and the the smoke ring can be impressive.

One of my Jumbo Joe cooks. It's the perfect smoker to go! The SnS Basket works well in it. Props to Huskee for encouraging me to get a jumbo in the first place.

I dont think you can go wrong with the combo @esjarchow While it's not a front line smoker it is a great portable grill that can produce some first class BBQ with or without the SNS. The SNS does make life easier for sure.

Wait, why did I buy an expensive offset again?

I've smoked in my Jumbo joe using the older Weber rail guards. Worked great!
