I was scared clicking on this. Wasn't sure how to explain another grill showing up at home...

I have been using it too for smoking only. I will have to check the app!

$11.99 here too! Have to pick up a few bags tomorrow. It says "new lower price", not "sale". Do you think it’s a permanent reduction? The price is one of the few negatives I’ve heard.

Same price here in KC! Wonder if the wife will notice 2 bags of that next to the 7 bags of Kingsford Pro in the garage?

Slide th' new Weber bags inside of a couple empty KP bags, gently crease/roll th' tops shut... place next to th' current pile.
Glad I'm single, 'cause I still got 14 bags KBB in th' Blue Belle, plus what's in th' garage

Need to keep a couple dozen bags in the back of the truck. You know, for traction during a snowstorm. Mr. Bones

I must admit I like it and at that price I’ll grab some.

I'll definitely be stopping at Lowe's today.

$11.99 a bag in my area. Not great, but much better than $20. Anyone compared this to the B&B charcoal briquettes? I've not used those, but was listening to the SCA champ talk about it on the BBQ Central show and has me interested. An almost 18lbs bag is $9.99 at Academy. I'm well stocked on Kingsford Blue, and really have no issues with it, but always love to try new things.

I'm with you. I'll be picking up a bag because I want to try something new.

I picked up 4 bags of the Weber charcoal at the $11.99 price at Lowe's today. Not as good as the 2 bags I found at Target a while back on sale for $5.99 each. I guess it all evens out.

Haven't tried it. Hope it's good, otherwise I'll be eating the cost of 6 bags of it.

I'm a KBB fan as well, although would love to give B&B briquettes a try. Too bad they're not sold in our area.

                    Kathryn

I bought 1 bag today and will be using it tomorrow. Depending on how it performs will dictate whether or not I pick up more.

Good plan, JeffJ . I may do the same with my Thursday cook.

I just used it for the first time. I have to say, I really liked the aroma that emanated out of my grill. It has a sweeter, cleaner and more woodsy smell than KBB. It burns pretty hot and it lasts. I cooked a small pork loin and some chopped zucchini, summer squash and mushrooms in the Jumbo Joe. Everything came out REALLY good. I'll be using Weber briquettes from time to time moving forward.
