The red limited edition Weber Kettle was delivered Friday and I have been to busy to assemble it until yesterday. After I finish the assembly it took it outside to meet it’s relatives and that’s when I notice how poorly of a paint job it had. The red paint was so thin in some spots that I could see the black primer. Needless to say I disassembled it and took it back to Home Depot. 😡
Now for the good news.
A friend of mine called me to tell me about someone he knew that had a brand new Weber Performer still in unopen box. So I went to look at it and he was asking $150. I would have paid that price in a heartbeat but I wanted to tested him. I offer him a Benjamin Franklin for it and to my surprise he accepted it. 😊
So I brought it home and got it assembled. So here’s a pic of it with some of its relatives. It hasn’t meet its other two relatives (the blue Performer and the WSM) yet but it has plenty of time to meet them. 😂
