Which position do you place your SnS?

Mine is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. Where do you usually place yours? On the left?

All over the place. It's easy to move around.

Yep! And if you have a hinge, it's right there under it.

There's not really a wrong place beside a self in the garage.

If grilling you can place it anywhere. If smoking I place it on the side directly opposite the hood vents on my Weber kettle.

Mine is at 9:00. I have a hinge attached to the lid, also at 9:00, so the vent is at 3:00. I wish I had put the hinge at 10:00 so that the lid would be just a bit more out of the way when open. And the SnS would also be at 10:00 with the vent at 4:00.

my lid holder is at 12:00 and so is my SnS is my handle. My other handle is at 6:00 with my vents. So is my hinged rack. Thus the horizontal grate/racks

I am right handed, so the SNS usually goes more on the left as I find it easier to turn meat without reaching over it.

I am right handed too, but that's a great point for lefties who should place the SnS on the right.

I typically place mine opposite the lid holder. So, when I remove the lid I'm pulling it away from the fire.

I move mine around depending on wind direction.

If I'm using it to sear it is literally at 12 o'clock as I don't want to burn my hands having to reach over it!
