I found the Weber and it’s a gasser with a cover on it.

Go for it! I stayed at a Residence Inn when my son was in college. I brought some ribeyes and cooked 'em on their gasser. Other guests showed up with a whole bunch of stuff. So we just had an impromptu pot luck dinner on a Friday night. Stayed up most of the night eating, sharing different beverages, and hanging out at their gasser fire pit most of the night. Memorable night for sure!

I've gotten away from using grills at hotels. Even at Marriott and Hilton brands, they tend to be gunked up and not well maintained after a few years. I also really enjoy trying local restaurants.
But a few years ago I was at a brand new Hampton in Green River, WY. Out back was this:

Couldn't pass this up, and the local grocery store had a sale on steaks!

Late spring, summer, fall, Not winter, one can get a brat almost anywhere on a Saturday in Wisconsin. Meat markets, stupor markets, gas stations all allow various charity groups, have what is called a brat fry. They are everywhere. No, they are not fryin em, the term comes from some German term. This one is now dormant til next year, but is sorta the Cadillac of brat fry setups.
