Are end of season sales common on Weber Kettles?

I want to buy a Weber Master Touch or 26" Kettle. I moved my old 22" to another location, and am currently limping along on a 14" Smokey Joe. Part of me wants to immediately go get a new grill and throw a Slow n' Sear in it. The other part of me wonders if end of season sales are likely, are they?

Never seen one. I have seen some places offer accessories for free.

I'm not in the market, but I usually check prices when I goto Home Depot just for fun. I have never seen any Weber's on sale ever since I bought my 22.5 in 2014. You might be able to find a killer deal on Craig's list or this site, tho.

I've been quite happy with the basic OTS for $99, but I've spent $$$ on accessories like SnS and GrillGrates. To me, using great accessories can turn a simple cooker in to an awesome cooker!

      Good luck!

        Thanks, that was my assumption.

I am monitoring craigslist. Ironically I saw the trifecta of grills I would like to add to my new outdoor kitchen. There was a 22" master touch, an 18" Weber smoker, and a 3 burner gas Weber. It all could be had for under $450 (different sellers) but I was out of state. Since I've been back I haven't seen anything. Meanwhile my patience is wearing thin.

I plan to go all in on accessories for the kettle I get. But I feel like feel like I may as well just get the top of the line model. I'm used to the 22" premium model and wouldn't go lower, and a master touch seems like the way to go for me.

I bought a 22" Weber last August at Wal-Mart for half-price, so it happens - right around this time of year too. Wasn't even in the market for it, but for $75 I quickly got in the market. Also scored a WSM14 for half price as well and got a friend one too. 22" came in a box but the WSMs were straight off the floor. Keep an eye out in case they do it again to clear floor space. Not sure if they even carry a Master Touch or 26" though.

A friend of mine found one at a closeout store. They buy stuff from businesses that are going out of business and sell it fer cheap. He picked up a new 26" Weber for $150. And someone here picked one up on Ebay for about the same price.

Last winter sometime, I was at my local Home Depot and saw that Weber had a sale where the gasser I'd been considering was reduced $100 and Home Depot was offering an additional $50 off "Any Weber gas grill in stock." Needless to say, I loaded one in the Jeep.

I don't know if that's common or nation-wide, but it worked for me.

I don't recall ever seeing Weber grills on sale, but obviously it happens since there's several folks here that have gotten deals. I want to get a smaller one for my camper, maybe I'll just keep checking back and wait until I find them on sale.

They do, but it's not something you can predict like Kingsford BB. I saved $50 when I bought my original premium 22" a year or two ago.

They're common on the 22" but nearly unheard of on the 26" is what I've been told. You can get the $150 version of the spiff-model 22" kettle for as low as $35, believe it or not. I found one at a Walmart near my home in suburban Philadelphia. Someone posted a link to a finder for those but I can't find it now.

I got my Weber Performer at Walmart a couple years back for $225. 00. Manager wanted it out of the Lawn and Garden section bad. After Labor Day, try checking out the retailers who rotate out seasonal items yearly to make room for the next season.

I just bought a 26 new. I've never even seen one on the floor anywhere that sells grills. So I figured no way would I see one on sale. I did score a couple other cookers I wanted this month off Craigslist so I'm okay paying full price for my main grill.
