    Weber work tables and carts

Does anyone know where I can purchase one of these for my webber kettle?

    #2
If custom, it will probably be pricey! I know egg carts are. Have you considered getting the performer with all that stuff or checking CL for a cheaper one? I have seen some interesting mods on here and other forums for work benches but those are more custom made rather than purchased.

Kinda weird weber just doesn't sell the carts. Would make my own but that list of builds is forever long as it is...

Garage sales can be helpful with this.

Call Weber and ask if they can sell you a replacement cart, but be forewarned that replacement parts aren't cheap.

I emailed Weber to find out about replacements carts, regular kettle-to-cart conversions, and such. I also asked if the 26" will ever be part of the Performer family, since this is something I'd like to see as well. I'll update if/when I get a response.

They responded that Performer "parts" are available (didn't specifically address the entire cart itself) by calling their customer service number at 1-800-446-1071.

For safety reasons they do not recommend, or assist in, modifying any grills to be used other than how they come out of the box. In other words, they don't offer parts or advice on how to mount a kettle on a cart if it didn't come that way. (Bummer) Would they sell you one if that's your intent? Unlikely but also unknown.

There are no current plans to make a 26" kettle in the Performer series. That was a question of my own I've been curious about. But, they did say they'd pass that on "to the team".

I wonder how many times that has been passed on to the team.

Mosca, right. I bet it's just not a projected big seller, except to a relative few of us.

They do make a 24" Performer, it's called the Summit Charcoal Grilling Center...

I will prolly just go ahead and build one then. Customize it how I want. Thanks for the help.

You're welcome! I am disappointed that Weber won't offer to help with mounting a 22" kettle on an aftermarket cart. I do understand their reservations though as they can't be responsible for what we might do with a drill and a couple of beers in us! 🍺 🛠 🍺 💥

Just a side note but I just called Weber customer service for the first time ever to replace my handle on the hood of my grill and that was prolly some of the best and fastest customer service I've ever experienced. A+++ to Weber!

It's not a built-in type thing, but it'd be very handy.

Nice! I think 2 of those need to be on my deck.

I thought about getting two of those, then I pictured the 4 youngest kiddees having a tag team sword fight. I'm about to rub down a cured flat with syrup and apply a pastrami rub, disaster averted.

I've still got one of those I bought 12 or so years ago when I was in my camping phase. They work really well, pack down into a carry sack and don't weigh a lot. There are 2 rubber bungies holding the top together so be careful where you put your grill.

Here is one example of what is available on Amazon. There are a number of tables and many sizes to choose from. Just make sure it's tall enough to be comfortable when working on it. You could cut a circle out and just set the kettle in the hole. You can also get casters to make it easier to move around.
