just found this limegreen 22" beauty in an online ad. Went to purchase it from the owner this morning. It has (allegedly) been used 3 times, looks pristine to me.
My wife and I just purchased a house, and a house with no grill is not a happy home
This also means I get to cook more with the SnS, which I look forward to.
...and now I've improved it by adding a self-adhesive gasket all around the lid. This seems to be a newer model, as the bottom edge is rolled. I seem to recall that being a sharp sheet metal edge before.
The gasket is a standard bbq (nomex) gasket that I cut in half lengthwise with a pair of scissors.

It is dubbed 'lime green', it's a color Weber made in the 1970's (I found out via the Weber Kettle club website). They have now started re-introducing those colors. I think my photo filters are scewing the color just a bit. Here's a raw photo of the color:
Henrik, Great looking Weber regardless of color! You can't smoke Brisket on the Outside Anyway, or at least I don't think you can! I have used Weber Kettles for over 40 Years! The S 'n S, Adrenaline BBQ Co., Amazing Ribs and the Pit Club have taught me How to use them in the past 2-3 Years!
I have two Weber Kettles a Performer Deluxe with a Med Vortex that I use principally for chicken, steaks and.... that I Reverse Sear! The other Kettle is an Older Performer that has the S 'n S and SS Baffle on the Coal Grate, and a BBQGURU DigiQ DX-2 Temp Control! This is one Phenominal Smoker!

Dan, how do you like that Vortex? I've read that it's the best thing ever for making wings, but there's no real advantage for anything else. What do you think?
Guest, Guest, Thanks Guys! Tom, I like the Med Vortex a lot! As I mentioned to Henrik I do most of my reverse searing of Chicken Legs and Thighs (Can't Afford Wings), Steaks, Chops, Salmon and....with the Vortex! I'm Scotch decent and a Small Weber Starter (30-35 KBB) will do the Cook! Dan
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

Your new kettle is so beautiful I've come back here more than once to look at it. At online stores all I typically see are black, copper and dark green. Hope to see more colors, which might not be good for my wallet.
