Greetings to All. I love my Jumbo Joe but would like to fit it with longer legs so It is about the same height as a 22" kettle. Does anyone know of an after-market leg set for the Jumbo Joe or have a DIY solution?
You should be able to easily cut aluminum conduit to length and use O-clamps to clamp them to the current supports. Or you could screw the legs on using the slots in the supplied supports. If you know an electrician, you could have them put a slight bend in each leg so they don't stick out quite so far, but that would not be necessary.
You could use wooden dowels to do the same thing - if you can find dowels long enough.
Thanks for two helpful replies. I took the expensive route and bought a Weber 22 Premium and a SlowNSear (All I can say is WOW, what a combo!). I'll keep the Jumbo Joe as a table top/tailgate grill. Now that I have the Weber/SlowNSear for grilling and a PBC for smoking, maybe I can quit buying hardware and focus on buying meat.
I feel you I can either feed my thirst for Gadgets or I can get the meat to do in the Gadgets I already have lol Its so hard I think I need a PBC (ok need is a harsh word more like want one) But then no cooks for another 4 weeks lol
