Had the basic 22" Kettle with the SnS. Upgraded to the Performer Deluxe for the house and brought the old kettle to the office. Wife was complaining of not having a side table or anywhere to hang untensils.
I gotta say, after getting over sticker shock, this thing is great! Typical Weber quality, love the propane lighter and charcoal hopper!
Does anyone know if I can get the ash pan parts to upgrade my basic kettle to have the ash pan?
Let me see if I got this right - you have a kettle that didn't come with the ash catcher doo-hingy and you were able to put this on? I'm in the process of getting a used kettle (more in another post) and would like to know how this worked.
Atalanta, that's my theory. Haven't ordered it yet, but did take measurements on the standard kettle and my new one, they're the same so it should work.

Polak, I also have a Performer Deluxe, New Last Fall and I Love It! Then I bought a DidgiQ DX2 Temp Controller to use with the S 'n S and I was Trying to figure out Where to Drill the Hole (+-1") for the Fan? Fortunately I looked out on the Driveway and saw my Old Performer standing there? I think My Neighbors thought I had Lost what Little was Left when they saw me Drilling a 7/8" Hole in the side of That Old Weber? Now I have Two Webers on the Deck, One an Older Weber Performer with a DigiQ DX2 Temp Control, S 'n S, and a SS Baffle! The other a Performer Deluxe with a Medium Vortex! A very convenient combination!
