Stumbled across some leaks that Weber appears close to releasing a smart kettle:

Looks like built in temp control and start up fire stoking included from some of the stuff I read. Along with an ‘improved’ one touch cleaning system and the option for good old manual control if you wish as well.

Closest competitor already on the market sans the cart format but with shelves optional. Might have been an inspiration for Weber developing theirs. The Huntsman® – Spider Grills

Interesting! I've heard from our Local Hardware Store that big changes are coming in 2026 for the Weber Gas Grills too.

Razor don't forget that is in Canadian Dollars would be less in US Dollars. Although uninsulated it does make your kettle into a "Kamodo" style cooker. If they ever open up the Beta Test thread to all members you would be able to see some of the unique ways the ring can be used.

I’m actually kinda interested in the smaller one for the lake, but not sure in the budget for this year.

I gave my last kettle to my uncle for his deer lease. This will probably show up before the pizza oven. Just need a much smaller footprint BBQ'er.
