It is done. I bought a Weber Master Touch kettle. I have been threatening to do this for a long time, but now it is a thing. YEARS ago I found a cheapie kettle on the side of the road, so I took it. By the way this is why you want to drive a pick up truck, whenever you find junk on the side of the road no problem. Just take it. Try THAT in your fancy yet worthless SUV!
Anyhow I liked the cheapo kettle. And I used it until it just cant be used anymore. It has rust holes.
Currently soaking in Worcestershire and soy sauce - three steaks and some chicken wings. Weber is ready for pick up at the Home Depot now.

Congratulations. I love mine. Now accessorize. SnS, Vortex to start. Elevated grill grate is helpful with larger cooks. Don't forget the pizza oven and rotisserie. I have Only Fire combo oven with the rotisserie. Enjoy!
Im gonna order the pizza oven conversion for the Weber 22 inch kettle soon. I am not sure if I want the rotisserie conversion for the Primo XL or kettle yet. I am leaning towards the Primo because I have the fireboard for it already.
I have a Primo XL and a Napoleon gasser. This is strictly for direct heat hot and fast grilling. Also the kettle is more portable than either the big as heavy Primo or gasser. I am set now! I think.

You're gonna love it and you'll find that it does a lot of stuff really well. Not just hot and fast.
Sometimes it backfires, and people ask you if you can haul stuff to the dump. Then you have to make up an excuse about something you have to do, but your neighbor will not believe you because they can clearly see the truck is parked out front and has not moved at all....
