Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
My favorite thing about the Weber Kettle Performer is exactly that: those things that make it a Performer instead of a Weber Kettle. The gas assist start, the table, the charcoal storage bin, and the storage space underneath. None of those things are essential, not individually nor as a whole, but all together they make it a wonderfully easy to use piece of equipment that is a joy to cook on.

I still regret letting my wife convince me to sell my Performer a few years ago. Something about how solid that cart felt was so satisfying. And the steel table top was really easy to clean.

If Weber ever gets wise and makes a 26” performer, it will be a ‘here’s my credit card and please don’t rip me off too much’ moment.

Just a Kettle, (Weber Performer, got to have a table!)
And the NK
Blessed with a screened in covered patio to cook in!
OK, folks I get the message, right now I'm not at home.
The picture is my new kettle, which will be delivered, assembled, by my local ACE store.
I have charcoal in my trunk, and ready to rock and roll.
If they forget to assemble, then more pictures!Last edited by SammyJ; May 11, 2023, 06:49 AM.

SammyJ great! I see a lot of folks save money by saying they don’t need the propane ignition, but until you’ve had it, you don’t realize how convenient it is. No more chasing after starter cubes and lighters. I even use it to light chimneys for my other charcoal cookers.

Personally (and I very well may be alone here),I hated that grate with the removable insert. I like to hang the grate in the slot on the back of the cart when I'm setting up charcoal, etc. and the insert always falls out. Since my performer sits on a wood deck, there's really no place to put the insert. I replaced that grate with a cheap nickel plated grate 4 years ago and never looked back.

- If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
If you get tired of using the 1 pound disposable propane camping style bottles, be aware that you can buy a hose that lets you connect the Performer to a regular 20# tank. I did that for years, but then got a new cooker and needed the extra tank, so now I am on the 1# tanks. Not bad though, as I only burn for about 5 minutes to get things lit, and go through 1 or 2 tanks a year.
