TBNT, "thanks but no thanks", But on a different note. Again, What's this obsession with the Vortex and wings? How did you all cook wings without it? Wings have to be the easiest protein to control the doneness, crispiness , flavor profile etc of all. Been grilling them for 50 years, never had a bad one. "No brag, just fact".

It's easy, convenient, and effective. I spent $3 and 5 minutes to make mine. If you haven't tried using a vortex or something similar like a homemade one you probably wouldn't understand. Think about it, it's a perfectly placed heat source that radiates the heat in a superior fashion.
