I’ve had a ton of Kettles, but never a Performer. Saw one on Marketplace for $80 so I grabbed it, I found the wheel covers in the plastic bin, but it is missing the igniter. Otherwise it’s in pretty good condition. I used it tonight and already fell in love with the table. Ugh… I barely have room for this beast. My cooking area is cramped and I have a bench, a Master Touch, a 26â€, a Hot Rod Yellow 70th, and an 18†Smokey Mountain in there already. Plus my 36†commercial SS table. Not sure where to put the Performer. Oh well, it’s a good problem to have!
I told Miss Tina I would take care of supper, so I cooked a couple of top sirloin steaks and bacon wrapped asparagus.
The wine is a 2010 Thornhill Red Rock Reserve. Delightful!

Cool side note... The guy I got it from lives in a second floor apartment and the insurance company said it can’t be on his balcony. He is in customer service and he won this through his work. Weber is one of their major clients. He doesn’t handle Weber calls, but he said there is a building in his town with an entire set of Weber grills set up so the CS people can go look at an actual grill while they are helping a customer. He even told me which building it is in. How cool is that?
If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.

My wife made me get a new Performer and also insisted I get "the big table" (I know, it's tough being me). I've only had one chance to use it yet, but really appreciate the ignition and love that table.
I forgot my new PK in the list that is crowding my cooking space. Someday I will own a piece of property and will build my dream BBQ and Love Shack. It isn’t elaborate or high end, but it is extremely well thought out and will be a delightful place for all my friends to come experience good BBQ and Love all around. Then I will room for all my cookers. I’ll add a nice offset. Maybe even a griddle.
It really is a great design. Last night my best friend and his wife came over for pizza made in the Roccbox, which happens to be sitting on my Performer Deluxe. For the fourth or fifth time she mentioned how great it is to have a table attached, and quote "it really is the perfect setup". And she’s right!
Congrats on your successful theft. Everyone should have one!

My performer serves all of my needs, in spite of my propensity to look into the new releases of other types of cookers/ That's just window shopping on my part.
