I have a Weber Performer Deluxe grill that has a gas assist to light charcoal. I bumped the hose and it started to leak, so I turned the gas off at the tank and ordered a replacement. It arrived today but does not connect to the 20 lb tank. I started the return process only to find out it's not returnable.

I called Amazon customer service and they refunded the cost of the item and said keep it, so all is well.

If anyone can use it, it's yours for the cost of postage.

What kind of tank does it fit? It looks like a regular gas fitting.

That looks like the adapter hose I have (probably not the same maker though), which does connect to the 20# tank. You probably already know but the end which connects to the 20# tank uses the inner threads of the tank valve, and is reverse threaded.

Was going to claim it but was not the fastest horse out of the gate! Was gonna turn my Performer into the Deluxe on the cheap! Oh well. Congrats to @CaptainMike.

I received a propane tank that has revered threads and could not get it refilled. So, I exchanged it for a Blue Rino and the local store. Problem solved. LOL.

There's no end to the number of folks who wind up having trouble with their hose in this transaction.

RonB this is the hose I use with my Performer Deluxe, to use a 20# tank in place of the disposable 1# tanks:

You can find it a lot cheaper on Amazon if you look for "Weber 6501".

This pretty much screws into ANY grill or cooker or even a lantern that is made to use the disposable 1 pound tanks.
