Thanks to everyone for their input.
I decided to buy another performer deluxe based on a couple of points:
Your mileage may vary. Does not include dealer prep, options, and destination fees. Void where prohibited by law. Do not remove tag under penalty of law. Keep out of reach of children. Not an approved floatation device. Remove child before laundering.
I decided to buy another performer deluxe based on a couple of points:
- I hadn't taken into account that I already have a rotisserie for the kettle (which I use very often) along with the SNS, Upper Deck rack, and GrillGrates. I didn't want the additional cost of repurchasing those items.
- I'm already proficient in the 22 in. model. I know how it works and how to get out of it what I want. At this time, I don't want to relearn everything. Maybe later, but not now.
- I was tempted by what @fzxdoc said about the Summit. I've wanted one since they first came out, but I just can't justify the cost at this time.
- The gas ignition system. Necessary, probably not, but mighty handy.
- Comes with the table. I won't have to make one in the equatorial heat and humidity of the central Florida coast (with a bad back to boot).
