    New Stove

So I'm at Home Depot last week and I walk by the Frigidaire stove below and see it is on sale scratch and dent for $549. Normally $1100.00. So I walk about 15 yards forward and do an about face and look again. It boasts a 17,000 BTU burner, a simmer burner and a middle burner. and the top grates are all on one plane. I walk again forward about 10 yards and do another about face. This time I found the appliance sales lady, pulled out my card and bought it.

I picked it up Saturday AM and installed...That's a story for another day.

I love working with good tools and this stove meets the standard of fricken Awesome. Pictured below is my old stove. While good, just didn't have the oomph I need. I sold the old on the same day on FB Marketplace for $100.00. They even brought it down my back steps and loaded into their truck. All I did was put a C-Note in my pocket.

I still don't have all matching appliances. My microwave and Stove are Stainless and my Refrigerator and Dishwasher are White. It's a bear to replace all 4 appliances at once so I don't mind the difference. As a matter of fact, no one has ever mentioned the difference either.

So with my Military discount, total was $565.00 with tax. Not too shabby.

Super exciting! I love that it has a proper griddle
burner. Using a griddle on two discrete burners is abnoxious. It’s good looking too!! Well done!! 🔥🔥🐿️

Nice! I have a Frigidaire as well, it came with the house. I love it. Enjoy and can’t wait to see some cooks!

That's great! I'd like to replace our appliances, but those things aren't cheap. We purchased all Samsung when I remodeled the kitchen in 2016. What junk! I'll never purchase another Samsung kitchen appliance again

The thing is if you read around a bit people say that, complete with stories, on every single brand there is. Some praise Samsung and hate LG, vice versa, it never ends.

Nice find, you'll like the flush grate top.

                    Nice score.
Hahaha. Your old one looks exactly like mine except ours is white. Would love to upgrade it but the wife is a PITA when it comes to these things. 😁

She'll forgive you once she uses that cooktop. Ask me how I know.

Hahahahaha Huskee She doesn’t cook. Probably wouldn’t even know how to turn it on. 😂😂

Wow that's quite an upgrade! I know you'll be putting it to good use and not missing the old stove one bit.

I hate cooking on electric stoves. I had n apartment years ago that had an old one from the 60’s. I could never get the hang of that thing. Either too hot or too cool. But it is the wave of the future.

I purchased a different model a couple of months ago and have not regretted it at all. The high BTU's and being able to slide pots anywhere on the stove without really lifting them is great.
