My answer is in the old thread... and I hardly ever use the nickname anyway.

Just got into charcoal Dec ‘21 (PBC)
fav is brisky. Love Turkey on PBC. also Turkey in the glass,(any nice bourbon)
Bud has always been my barley pop.
Been smoking a handful of years, just got serious in the last two or three years. Thanks to AR n @glemn picked up an SnS Kamado for appx 1/3 price of new. I dont think he used it twice. Love AR! keep calm n smoke on! Miss you Bonesy.
Never used charcoal til Dec 2021. Got PBC, “ purty black cooker”, then picked up copper 22.
“lil’ red head” PBC’s big brother. This was In Bonesy’s honor, for the first memorial cook.
20 plus year old gasser canabalized itself n got “Victory” new LP w/Roti. Then as luck would have it. A guy trying to unload an SnSK
contacted the AR website. Someone told him it would be a great place to find a buyer.
I wanted it soo bad but SWMBO said NO!
The guy got back a week later n said he was having no luck on FB, picture book, birdie book or gregs list. Offered it at a price I could not resist. Ta Daa! “Could not Resist!”
Then a month later, I am driving down the road minding my own biz( for once )and low n behold poor little “Orphan Ollie” crying, abandoned, on the side of the road. Here I come to save the Day!!!
Then wouldn’t you know it? I win the AR second place prize! “Woodford” the Winner a stick burner!

Primo Oval XL Ceramic Cooker
Pit Barrel Cooker
2x Mavrick 732
Therma Pen Orange
Favorite Bourbon Blanton's
SF Giants
MCS wish list - Lone Star Grillz off set
I cleverly dubbed my black Primo XL “The Midnight Toker” when it arrived 7 ish years ago. Today I realized I never once referred to it as that. Guess I’m not that type cuz I don’t have names for any on my inanimate objects. I got some names for my wife though…that make her pretty animated.

I haven’t named any of my cookers, in fact I’ve named very few things. The deal with my wife was if they were boys I could name them, if girls she would name them, so I named two sons. I also named several pets. The only other thing I’ve ever named was my first truck at Halliburton. Her name was slobbering Hessie, the leakingest, smokingest, most dangerous frac pump truck to ever go down a highway.

When I first got the PBC I referred to it as my “grilfriend”. Over time we drifted apart. She thinks I’m demanding and I think she’s temperamental. We decided to stay together for the family. Now we just have an open relationship. We are both very happy. I’m allowed to see other grills!
Sorry… what was the question ?

Haven't named anything in a while... the SS 2 Star probably deserves a name and a will entry though I guess... the PKGO as well (although the internals won't last a lifetime the capsule should) I suppose
