Just for Fun: Have you named your favorite cooking device(s) and if so, what?

I was trying to think of a fun post and came up with this question:

Have you named your favorite cooking device or devices, or all of them for that matter, and if so, what did you name them?

I think I'm going to name mine 'The Commander', mainly because typing Kamander all the time is annoying, I really love this device and it has served us well for over 5 years, puffing away day after day. So there you go, 'The Commander' it is.

Follow up question: If you don't have a name, what would you name it?

(Note to mods: if this should go in a different area, please move it)

    An old but fun thread:

Have you named your smoker? I’d be curious what you named her? My pic is of “Big Alice”

It does remind me that I need new names for mine since Smokey was sold and Bandit doesn’t have a partner anymore. The PK300 doesn’t feel like a Smokey.

    Decisions, decisions.

Comfort your poor nameless PK300. With a name, it will feel more like part of the family.

No names here, and if I was going to name any of them, I wouldn’t. It’s just not my thing. The egg, the griddle, the kettle. The Smokey Joe, but I never use it. (It’s easier to section off part of the kettle with a S&S than it is to fire up the Smokey Joe. Uses less real estate overall, too.)

I'm not too into naming stuff like grills. I just call them what they are here... gas grill, griddle, kamado, kettle, offset... maybe by the name plate (Weber Performer), etc.

jfmorris I really want to get my two friends with Traegers some stick on magnet signs that say "Easy-Bake Oven."

(When I met Jim for beers in AL last June, Jim gave those two friends a ribbing by asking them how they like their Easy-Bake ovens. The other friend and I cracked up about that for the rest of the trip.)

I don't make up names for my cookers; but when I had my Weber Ranch kettle my wife kept calling it "the spaceship," so I just went with that. 🛸👽

What is this "had" versus "have" thing you speak of...

If I get mad at any one of them their name becomes a spontaneous string of expletives that "would make a sailor blush"............................

I can't decide on the proper pronoun. My pellet grill, sometimes HE just keeps on trucking, other times SHE is a bit fussy and needs a little more loving. So far, they/them will cook up a great meal.
