SC Grillmore I don’t use my Vortex much, but that’s mostly because I don’t often cook the kinds of things it does well. I do use the S&S stainless steel half moon griddle over the S&S, a lot. I don’t want to invest money and deck space in a griddle, and this works well.
Sid P Yes, I can use half a chimney of briqs and there’s room for four smashburgers. The S&S keeps the briqs concentrated, the entire surface of the griddle is about the same heat.
