Ahhhh. Slightly embarrassing.
Well it was either the vision, the glasses, the age, the attention to detail or the the dyslexia.
But the intentions were good.
Good luck regardless.

I bought a Kenmore Elite 550 at a Sears outlet and it was on sale for a pretty good price. They are pretty much a Genesis clone and actually think they are made by weber for Sears. I could be wrong though.
Most Weber sellers use Weber's minimum advertised pricing, so they kinda sorta are usually on sale, although they still cost more than most other brands sold in big box stores. Sometimes you can find deals on floor models, usually in the fall.

EVERYTHING goes on sale at some point.😆 Marketing professionals just can't control their urge to advertise and use the motivating word SALE.
Then they like to add... Limited to Stock on hand, Limited time only, we pay the tax, 90 days same as cash, free delivery, over stocked, floor samples only, over bought - every thing must go, regardless of cost or loss, Going Out for business, not to be mistaken for going out of business. Going out of business sometimes means the retail store needs a huge cash infusion so they have the Big Whopper of a sale "Going out of Business" everything must go "Total Liquidation", then after the cash raising sale they transfer 51% of the Company to a friend and reopen under a new Name and immediately have the other Grand Daddy of a sale... "Grand Opening" sale!!!😆😆😆
They are very creative people and just can't help themselves. Their state Attorney General is our protector.👍

Just ordered a Broil King Baron 420 through Lowes. It too is built like a tank, has a side burner, free delivery/assembly, and what looks to be a decent warranty, for $499. Should be firing it up by Saturday evening.
I also looked at the Signet 320, which was also solidly built and probably would have sufficed for what we actually do on our gas grill. The bad part was the assembly manual that was in the cook box of the floor model. (No free assembly or delivery for Signets.) The sheer list of parts made me think the extra money was worth it.
The Weber Genesis grills had $100 off but the cost was still $599 for the E-310 and it didn't have a side burner.
I'm thinking (hoping) I'll be happy with the purchase and I'm looking forward to experimenting with low and slow on it. I have a smoke box around here somewhere.
Thanks again for all of your input! It's much appreciated!!
