I wonder where the price fits along side of premium gas grills of the same capacity.

Interesting, but they are not the first with this idea. Vision Grills has a kamado that they have developed a slide in gas burner for. So you can do either the charcoal or gas, depending on your preference that day. I like the look of this one, though!

I'm gonna keep my eye on this one. Be very interesting if they incorporate the use of charcoal as the Vision did.

I would assume it no longer has a manual exhaust system. So I wonder how they put that together with the ceramic dome. This is gonna be interesting to see. There are a lot of new, exciting projects in the works in the world of BBQ.

NOW you guys are going to make me uncover a gas ceramic I have had under a tarp for 15 years. I THINK it was a Primo but will have to go take a look. I will say it worked but not very well. Thus under the tarp it went.
I bought it here in the Kansas city area from a guy who was trying to get them going at the time. Bought it out of his garage --he had a big pile of them.
Among my oddities I have a blue BGE chiminea. Took me forever to find a blue one they were kind of a unicorn at the time but found it in Arkansas. I do like the chiminea. That thing will roast a hotdog in a heartbeat if you hold it over the chimney!! My grand daughter loves it with a 3' hot dog stick.

BGE also had a few blue Large BGE eggs floating around at the time but I never could find one.

Just asked my wife to refresh my memory and she says it is a Primo. She was all for it because she loves the BGE but didn't want to hassle with the charcoal. I'll try to get pics on here soon. My memory is telling me the burners were BIG and pretty good stainless steel.

Wife memory is a WHOLE lot better than mine. Here is an interesting link to a few Primo's most folks have never seen or heard of. It is in fact a Primo 2000 i have under the tarp.
I'm going to guess this new Primo Gas is WAY beyond what mine is.

Enlarge the first picture and that is the 2000. Enlarge the last pic for another look. If anyone is interested I will get a pic of mine.
