    Making me wonder if there's a market for "craft fabricated" GAS grills... like someone like me building something out of real steel instead of the sheet metal SHITE most manufacturers are pushing these days.

    Like, buy the gas-delivering parts, then build a grill around it that makes it easy peasy to clean and/or replace any of the parts that wear out, while the structure remains solid and able to survive for decades....

      Bradley Robinson at Chud BBQ recently released a stainless steel charcoal grill along the lines you describe, adapting gas guts might be plausible.

      If you could incorporate the “guts” to be easily removable to clean the unit and burner parts, that would be a great thing.
