Anyone have a good wood supply in or around Los Angeles?

As I'm doing research on buying an offset smoker, I want to see if anyone has a wood supplier out here that they use. I know that I can always go online to shop, but I'd imagine it would be much cheaper to find it locally. Thanks!

My response is very ignorant of your area, purely speculating, but I suppose it'll be rather difficult to find firewood sellers in LA...but then again, people gotta burn something in their fireplaces so who knows! I hope you find a good source, you will love the relaxation of using a stick burner!

There are a couple of suppliers in Pasadena. Glatt's Firewood and Alpine Firewood. Oak is plentiful, but I think
both of them also have other cooking woods such as mesquite, hickory, etc.

Forgot one - I also used to get wood at Firewood of my Ranch when they were in East LA. They've moved to Compton
now which is a long haul for me. But their wood was reasonable.
