I apologize if this has been covered.
Has anyone had experience with B & B Wood Chunks? My ACE carries them, and it's so much more convenient to buy chunks locally than ordering.
BTW, I have been ordering from Fruita.
Using some B & B mesquite right now. I also buy their Hickory chunks. I like it a lot, it’s also cheaper than other brands at other stores around me. If you have an Academy near you, get em there. I only pay $6.00 a bag here in Houston for them at Academy.
I use them all the time BUT I get them from Academy Sports for about 1/2 the price of Ace, HD, Lowes, etc. I also use the B&B Briquettes and Char-Logs from Academy as well.
BandB seems like the sweet spot for the regular over the counter stuff in terms of price quality. But not like the uniform pieces you get from SMokealicious or diamondback. I have a local True Value that carries the diamond brand which is convenient, but they no longer have maple
